Stopped at this bakery because of online reviews for the Portuguese egg tart. I had really high hopes and excitement to try them. Some other reviews had stated that the staff are unfriendly and if you don't know how to speak Chinese then it would be a bad experience. Not in my case. I came in respectful and took my time looking at all the pastries and baked goods they had to offer. I was never rushed. Once I made my decisions I stood in line and pointed to what wanted. The Portuguese egg tart was okay. They are not something that I would go out of my way for as I have had much better. For the price, the Portuguese egg tarts are a deal. $1.75 for one or a pack of 6 for $10.50. The other pastries and baked goods I had were fine as well. I got the black sugar longan cake for my mom and she enjoyed it. That was unique which I have not seen at other bakeries. I would come back if I'm in the area, but also would try other bakeries in the area.

Small shop with a line already forming by the time we got in. This is hands down the softest, flakiest, jiggliest egg tart I have ever tried- and writing this just makes me want to go again. $10 credit card minimum, only like 4/5 tables on the side to eat. 10/10 egg tart - they are hot and fresh too

First time trying Xin Fa, and the pecan cheesecake was very rich and soft. The egg tart was served warm, with a really nice consistency. Also the mint lime soda was refreshing and upgrading to a large was just $1 more than the small. The store was very busy on a Saturday morning but that is to be expected.

This place is almost always busy, so there is a line. I love the breads here, and they are pretty inexpensive. The egg tarts here are famous; they are so creamy, soft, and delicious. If I remember correctly, each egg tart is $1.75. I also wanted the green tea red bean cake, but they said that they don't have it, so that was a little disappointing. I haven't tried their other desserts, so I don't have a say in how they taste. There is no music here and the tables are usually filled with elderly people. All in all, I am definitely coming back to buy breads and egg tarts!
